Anyone else here an unorganised mess? Because I am! I have mocks coming up in just under two weeks and real GCSEs in around 11 weeks… and I haven’t even started revising. My desk is SUPER untidy and my homework is NEVER in on time (oops). So, to sort all that out, I’ve been doing some research (i.e. watching youtube videos) on how to stay organised. Whether it’s organising your schoolwork, your social media accounts, your blog or just your life (ME)! I’ve tried all of them out and picked a few of the tips that worked best for me so that I could share them with you!
1. Make time to have FUN!
Being organised doesn’t mean that you have to, or should, stop having fun. It’s so important not to let work, exams or, just life in general stress you out to much. If you start to feel stressed or have been working/revising/focusing too much then remember to give yourself a break – look after yourself! After all your brain will work better if you give it a rest! So meet up with your friends, watch a few episodes of your favourite series (The Vampire diaries for me!) or have a spa night!
2.pick a ‘Get it together day’
This basically means, pick one day of the week (for me, sunday) and dedicate the whole day to doing EVERYTHING you need to do. For example, booking appointments (i.e. hair, waxing, beauty, nails, dentists, doctors…), cleaning your house/room, get any necessary shopping done, writing ‘to do lists’, planning the week etc. It may be really boring but it’s SUPER useful as it means you get everything done and the next week is sorted out!
3. Always have breakfast!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! I used to skip breakfast every day before school as I didn’t have enough time. Now I always make sure I eat something before I leave – even if it’s only something small and quick like a breakfast bar. If you want some inspiration here are some of our favourite snack/breakfast ideas!
4. get a daily planner!
I make an effort to write my main goals and ‘to do lists’ for the next day every night. Sometimes it can be difficult if your super tired or feel like you have loads to do but i find that it’s actually a really good way to end your day! You go to sleep feeling super organised and prepared for tomorrow.
5. Try to get a good nights sleep!
This one is SO SO SO important! If you don’t get enough sleep you won’t feel energised or prepared for the day, I know that i really struggle being productive if I’m tired!
What is your ‘must do’ organisation tip?
I love this post and i love love love your style! I feel like we have very similar styles with our blogs. Simple, elegant, and pretty! I think we can always find a little inspiration in our daily lives and find ways to better ourselves. Would love if you could check out my blog as well!

The get it together day is something I find SO useful! Makes me clear my head and feel organized! Also helps me a lot with keeping up with school work! Also, I love to print monthly planners and hang them on my wall to always keep track of my plans during that month (I have a habit of double planning, it’s horrible)!
